2 The Granary is a Grade II listed converted granary beside a quiet lane on the edge of the pretty village of Brighstone, 1/2 mile from the sea. 2 The Granary originally formed part of Brighstone Mill and dates back to the early 19th century. Converted in the early 1990s, the cottage has an unusual layout. The living accommodation is on the first floor where there is an open plan living and dining space and separate kitchen with views of the surrounding countryside. The ground floor has two bedrooms (one double and one twin) and a bathroom.

The cottage has double-glazing and a gas central heating system and ideal for holidays and short breaks all year round. Outside, there is an enclosed courtyard style garden complete with patio and furniture. Parking is available in a private parking space next to the garage. The cottage is only a 10 minute walk from the village pub and shops and also from the sea at Brighstone Bay. There are lovely country walks adjacent to the cottage –  the millstream, pond and “dragon tree” should not be missed.
