From Film Editor to Script Editor to Social Entrepreneur/TEDx Speaker, now focused on MA in Screenwriting. First writing attempt got to the quarter finals of Los Angeles Winter Screenwriting competition. The second got to the semi-finals of the Screencraft Shorts Comptition. Recently won Best Short Script at Monza Film Fest and made my first short film last year (in competition).

The Nun's Referendum - Feature. Available.

Inspired by true life events:

As Hitler’s troops rescue Mussolini in the Autumn of 1943, Italian Jews flee for their lives. A reformist Reverend Mother infuriates her fellow Catholic nuns, by insisting they hold a referendum on whether to cast out the Jewish families discovered hiding within the Convent walls.

Dark Comedy: A Female Ex-Soldier determined to stay out of prison starts a dementia granny-walking business, but when she apparently kills a mugger in a PTSD episode, she is blackmailed by the elderly ladies into facilitating their aspirational – and often illegal – Bucket List.

By the time police unearth the mugger and reveal he was buried alive, the ex-soldier is torn between wanting to escape the hold these women have over her, and not wanting to relinquish finally again being in charge of a ‘troop’, and the positive effect these ladies are having on her life.
